Description

This class is held in person at the Wellness Within Center.

Art Project on 5/20/24: Flower Pot Mosaic

One of the best things about art therapy is that you don’t have to be an artist to do it. It’s a tool, a vehicle for expression. Therapeutic Art, taught by an Art Therapist, can help us heal the split between our body and mind, our inner experiences and outer experiences. It’s an image-based process which is perfect for times when it is hard to put thoughts and feelings into words. Making art with others on a similar journey can provide the much-needed relief and reminder that you are not alone.

Our classes and programs are funded by grants, sponsors, donors and clients who are paying it forward. Cancer can be expensive; we do not want finances to be a barrier to accessing our valuable programming. Pay-as-you-can with a suggested donation amount per class of $10-$25.
